More than ten years of learning the ropes
Before the shop was his, Steve worked for Tom and Donna Curtin for more than ten years, “learning the ropes” of pool tables from the bottom up. In 2010 he became the owner. Today he is the Owner and Service Technician at the same Newburgh shop, an Authorized Brunswick Dealer on Route 300.
That order matters. He learned the work before he ran the shop, so when he quotes a recovery or a move he is describing work he knows from the inside.

It is not a slogan. The number on this site is Steve's cell phone, and the shop says to ask for Steve. He looks at the table, writes the quote, and is frequently the one who shows up to do the work.
He can set up a new table, re-felt and re-level one in a recovery, or take it apart and put it back together in a new room or a new house through the moving service.
